The Israel Crane House, built in 1796, is an excellent example of a Federal-style residence. The house was saved in 1965 by the Montclair Historical Society from demolition and moved to its current location.聽 It now serves as a house museum, meeting space, and exhibition space.
The grant helped fund reconstruction of the brick walks聽 to provide barrier-free access across the site.聽
