PARAMUS —As part of the Christie Administration’s sixth annual Season of Service, Department and Banking and Insurance Commissioner Richard J. Badolato and Department staff earlier this month celebrated birthdays of military veterans and thanked them for their service at the Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus. Badolato and DOBI staff decorated tables, assisted with party setup and personally greeted the Veterans, thanking them for their service and congratulated those celebrating birthdays.

“I am grateful for the entire staff at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus for the honor and privilege of allowing us to attend this outstanding event that celebrates the lives and service of our Veterans,” said Commissioner Badolato. “It was a special pleasure to see the smiles of the many Veterans who attended and to share our good wishes and support to the Veterans who have made all what we do possible.”

Administrated by the 星空无限传媒app Department of Military Affairs, the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Paramus is located on 23-acres in northeastern Bergen County. The Home opened on August 4, 1986. It has two modern residential buildings, able to accommodate 336 residents, and two fenced-in garden areas. In the courtyard, near the main entrance, a monument stands in memory of those who served in World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. The facility is Medicare certified and licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and surveyed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
