DRBC's "Our Founding Waters" Celebration: September 2, 2026
Please join the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC), our Commission staff, community organizations, government partners and other invited guests as we kick off Our Founding Waters Day, which is free and open to the public.
Our Founding Waters Day - Tentative Schedule
→ 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. – Our Founding Waters River Festival
- Invitation to Vendors: organizations and businesses wishing to table at the Community Resource Fair can register
- Vendors and speaker lineup to be announced
→ 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. - DRBC Quarterly Business Meeting
- Voting on water resources matters
- Special recognition for the Washington Crossing Historic Park and others
- View Meeting Agenda (full details to be posted in late August)
→ 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. - Open Public Comment following the DRBC Business Meeting
- Open to all, time permitting
- Share your thoughts or updates on water issues

Transportation and Parking
- The Washington Crossing Historic Park Visitor Center is located at 1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, PA 18977. It can be reached by car or public transportation. .
- Free parking is available and is clearly marked

- To use public transportation, the most efficient option is to travel on SEPTA regional rail to Yardley station and take a ~10 minute rideshare such as Lyft or Uber
- Please note that the Washington Crossing Bridge has a 3-ton limit and is not passable by buses, large trucks or campers. Large vehicles are not permitted to cross the bridge on Route 532. Groups traveling from New Jersey must use Route 202 or I-295 crossings.
- Handicap parking is available directly across from the Visitor Center
- A total of four EV charging spaces are available for public use in the parking area across from the Visitor Center. Please move to another parking space once your vehicle has been charged.
