Authorized to Teach

The Landscaping and Grounds Keeping #2507 endorsement entitles the holder to teach in New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE)-approved career and technical education (CTE) courses in the following programs, and programs of study under the following codes.

Employment experience requirements can be met using one of the following:

  • Landscape architecture
  • Land surveying

  • Soil management for sports fields and landscape

Candidates must submit a copy of their current New Jersey Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.   

Note: A private Pesticide Applicator Certificate issued by the New Jersey Bureau of Pesticide Control will not be accepted as a substitute for the New Jersey Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certificate.
