Vehicles may resume posted speed limits
TRENTON – New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials announced the Commercial Vehicle Travel Restriction will be lifted effective at 5 p.m. today, Monday, February 23 for all highways. In addition, the Emergency Traffic Regulation Order that temporarily lowered all posted speed limits to 35 miles per hour will be lifted at the same time.All vehicles previously listed in the Commercial Vehicle Travel Restriction are able to resume normal travel on the following highways in both directions:

All vehicles may resume the posted speed limit on the following highways:
NJDOT crews and contractors are expected to continue working throughout the night to continue cleanup efforts on Interstate and State highways to ensure roads are clear and safe. However, low temperatures causing refreeze and winds blowing snow may cause roads to be slippery. Road conditions can change quickly, use caution and slow down. Avoid unnecessary travel and let crews continue to clear the roads.
