Youth Camps

A Youth Camp is a high-risk program that meets all of the following criteria:

  1. Accommodates campers 17 years of age or younger
  2. At least five (5) campers per session
  3. Each session operates for two (2) days or more during the same week
  4. Camp activities include at least one high-risk activity

Children's programs that meet all of the above criteria are considered high-risk and therefore must apply for a Youth Camp Permit with the New Jersey Department of Health.
