Youth Camps

A Youth Camp is a high-risk program that meets all of the following criteria:

  1. Accommodates campers 17 years of age or younger
  2. At least five (5) campers per session
  3. Each session operates for two (2) days or more during the same week
  4. Camp activities include at least one high-risk activity

Children’s programs that operate during the summer or other out-of-school breaks and holidays are required to obtain a Youth Camp Permit from the New Jersey Department of Health.
