TRENTON – New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJ MVC) customers are advised of the following facilities closures for the upcoming Presidents’ holidays:
Friday, Feb. 12
NJ MVC inspection stations will be closed in observance of President Abraham Lincoln’s Birthday. All other MVC facilities, including Licensing and Vehicle Centers, Regional Service Centers, and road testing sites, will be open Feb. 12 during regular business hours. State inspection stations are the only facilities closed on Feb. 12.
Monday, Feb. 15
ALL NJ MVC facilities will be closed for Presidents Day:
- Licensing and Vehicle Centers
- Regional Service Centers
- Road testing sites
- Inspection stations

Customers should always check the status of locations and verify the availability of their transaction at before visiting any MVC facility. Most in-person transactions at MVC agencies require an appointment and are not available on a walk-in basis.
