WHY:

Four out of five children nationwide are transported in child safety seats that are not properly installed. The improper installation stems from a variety of issues including parental confusion and misinformation as well as incompatibility between many types of vehicles and child seats. The public is invited to attend this event. Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to check child seats for parents to see if the seats are properly installed. Problems that are noted will be corrected and parents will leave the event with a better understanding of important issues relating to child passenger safety.

Vehicles may enter off the Garden State Parkway south or via Broad Street in Bloomfield Town.
