NJSP Seeking Volunteers For Domestic Violence Response Teams
The New Jersey State Police is seeking volunteers for Domestic Violence Response Teams in Atlantic,
Burlington, and Warren Counties.
Volunteer advocates work in conjunction with police, county prosecutor’s offices, and private organizations
to provide support, information, referrals, and a safety plan to victims of domestic violence.
Volunteers must attend a free 40-hour training course, possess a valid driver’s license, be willing to serve on an on-call
shift basis, and submit to background investigations and fingerprinting. Applications are currently being accepted.
