Caught On Video: Man Sets Fire To Building
State Police Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Suspect
Hopewell Township, Cumberland County – Troopers from Bridgeton Station are asking for the public’s help with identifying a man who was captured on surveillance pouring an accelerant onto the exterior of a building and setting it on fire.
On June 12, 2014, at approximately 2:52 a.m., troopers responded to the Hopewell Food Market, located on Shiloh Pike, for the report of a structure fire. Members of the NJSP Arson Bomb Unit, Criminal Investigations Office, and N.J. State Fire Marshall’s Office responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.
Troopers were able to capture two still images of a white or Hispanic male, age 25-30, 5’10”-6’, 175-190 pounds, with facial hair. The suspect was seen fleeing the scene on a bicycle. Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeton Station at (856) 451-0101.
