NJSP Investigate Fatal Fire in Estell Manor
Weymouth Township, Atlantic County, N.J. - A fatal RV fire this morning has tragically claimed the
life of two people in the Estell Manor section of Weymouth Township. One victim is a man, and efforts are
ongoing to identify the second person.
At approximately 6:50 a.m., troopers from Buena Vista Station responded to Cape May Drive for a fire in
the rear of a home involving an RV. Estell Manor, Milmay and Dorothy Fire Departments responded and extinguished the fire.
Family members were able to pull the man out of the RV. He was transported by Dorothy EMS to Inspira Hospital in
Vineland, where he later died. The second victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives from the Troop A Criminal Investigation Office, Arson/Bomb Unit and Troop A Crime Scene Investigations
South Unit responded and assisted with the investigation. No cause for the fire has been determined and the
investigation is ongoing.
