New Jersey State Police Port Norris Station Temporarily Relocated
Port Norris, N.J. - State Police Port Norris Station personnel have been temporarily relocated to the State Police Bivalve Marine Station located at 2669 Ogden Avenue in Port Norris, only four miles from the permanent station. The phone number remains the same, (856) 785-0036. In the event of an emergency, callers should still use 9-1-1.
The Port Norris Station covers Commercial, Maurice River, Lawrence, Downe, and Fairfield townships. The station also has responsibility for the lower 20 miles of State Highway 55. The relocation will not affect response times or patrol duties in the areas covered by this station.
The temporary move was planned in advance to accommodate renovations and repairs. The work is expected to take several months.
