New Jersey State Police To Conduct DWI Checkpoint
Upper Pittsgrove Township, N.J. - On Wednesday, November 26, 2014, the New Jersey State Police will
conduct an evening DWI sobriety checkpoint on US Highway 40 between Buck Road and Dutch Row Road. Motorists can
expect delays while this safety initiative is being conducted.
After analyzing crash data from the last three years, troopers found that US 40 had a higher incidence of alcohol
related crashes than other area roadways. Troopers will be looking for signs of impairment due to alcohol or drugs.
If you plan on drinking alcohol, make sure to have a designated driver. It’s not worth risking getting arrested,
hurting yourself, or hurting anyone else.
