This proposal re-adopts with amendments N.J.A.C. 13:55A, Regulation of Security Officer Companies and Security Officers. Full text of the proposal can be found in the New Jersey Register, 45 N.J.R. 1351(a).
The rules proposed for re-adoption with amendments ensure reliable regulations governing security officer companies and security officers employed by those companies. The rules grant regulatory power to the Superintendent of State Police, in order to ensure greater accountability and integrity within the security officer industry and to further public welfare and safety.
