Notice of Intent to Participate in Cooperative Contract - PARCC Assessment Systems

Notice is hereby given that the State of New Jersey intends to enter into a publically advertised cooperative purchasing agreement for oversight, state engagement, and additional support services for the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers Assessment System.

The ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app anticipates joining the Rhode Island contract in June of 2015.  The ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app expects to award a contract to the vendor PARCC, Inc.

The Rhode Island Department of Administration Division of Purchases contract has a term of October 1, 2014 through June 30, 2017.  The Rhode Island contract may be extended by mutual written consent provided that such consent may not be unreasonably withheld, and further provided, that there is a fiscal appropriation for any extension.

Under N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2, the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app is authorized to join competitively bid and awarded cooperative purchasing agreements.

Note that the comment period ends with the close of business on June 10, 2015.
