Using your New Jersey taxpayer identification number (ID number) and password allows you to:

• File returns;
• Make payments;
• Access past filings and payments.

Using your ID number and business name allows you to:

• File returns;
• Make payments.

ID Number

Your ID number contains 12 digits. When you log into the system do not use hyphens, slashes, or other punctuation.

In general, your ID number is the same as your Federal Employer identification Number (FEIN) plus three digits (000).

If you do not have a FEIN, your ID number may be your Social Security Number, followed by three zeroes.

Password

To create a password, choose the checkbox located below the password field and follow the instructions.
