Military Science

Endorsement Code: 2250

Note: Requirements, passing test scores, and fees are subject to change without notice. All credits must appear on an accredited two- or four-year college or university transcript.

This endorsement authorizes the holder to teach Military Science in all public schools.

This endorsement is only offered as a standard certificate.

Requirements

  1. A clear copy of a valid military ID card or DD-214 Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty issued by the United States Department of Defense/Department of War upon a military service member's retirement, separation, or discharge.
  2. A current and valid certification or letter of eligibility issued by the appropriate branch of the United States military authorizing the individual to serve as a Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) instructor for that branch.
