NJ DOH LINCS COVID-19 Communications
The NJ DOH through the NJLINCS system releases near daily COVID-19 updates (clinical, facilities and emergency management guidance, patient education and/or phone helping scripts). Information provided is for licensed medical, public health and emergency personnel. Distribution of information through NJLINCS is to facilitate statewide continuity and optimal local decision making for point of service, patient care, policy & procedures and QA needs. Community Health Workers (CHW) act as intermediaries between the community and healthcare and social service systems in order to ensure community awareness and access to services. CHWs have emerged as one of the most vital actors in healthcare delivery today. Training includes classroom and apprenticeship experiences. (Training program is currently virtual.)
