Funeral Arrangements for Fallen Trooper Anthony Raspa
West Trenton, N.J. - The funeral for New Jersey State Trooper Anthony Raspa #7425 will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 11 a.m., at Saint Matthias Church, 168 Kennedy Boulevard, Somerset, N.J.
A member of the State Police will be available to speak with the media prior to the funeral service. Media should arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. There will be a media area available outside of the church that will offer a view of the funeral procession.
The Raspa family has requested that the church service remain private. To respect the family’s wishes, media will not be permitted inside the church during the service.
"Anthony Raspa was an outstanding trooper and role model. He was highly regarded by his peers and supervisors alike and had limitless potential in his chosen profession. We are devastated by his passing. His family will always remain a part of our State Police family," said Colonel Rick Fuentes, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police.
