Burlington City, N.J. - The New Jersey State Police, with assistance from the Burlington City Police Department, Burlington Township Police Department, and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, has arrested Hubert Moore, 35, of Burlington City. Detectives seized weapons and more than $23,000 worth of drugs.
After an investigation by State Police detectives from the Gangs and Organized Crime Central and South Units and Troop “C” Criminal Investigations Office, investigators obtained a search warrant for Moore’s home in Burlington City. On Friday, January 13, detectives, along with members of the State Police T.E.A.M.S and Canine Units, executed the search warrant and placed Moore under arrest.
While searching the residence, detectives seized 898 ecstasy tablets valued at more than $22,000, a pound of marijuana valued at $1,800, a .45 caliber handgun loaded with hollow point rounds, a hand-held taser, and more than $4,700 in cash.
Hubert Moore was charged with the following crimes:
He was lodged at the Burlington County Jail on a no bail warrant. The case is being prosecuted by the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice.
Charges are mere accusations and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
