What does family mean to me?
spacer
Well, family to me means a loving and caring family that will always support me when I really need them. I never realized that until I started getting in trouble being around the wrong people and with the law, yes I regret that. I got in a gang, but my biggest mistake was that I thought that my gang members were my family and they would be there for me all the time and help me. But the first day I got locked up, they didn't worry about me anymore. The only people there for me was my family. I did not expect my family to be there for me when I didn't care about being with them. But now I realize that the real family I was looking for was right in front of me. Now all I can do is wait to get home and be with my real family and I wouldn't change that for anything.
