Route 561 replacement bridge to open to traffic
MEDIA ADVISORY
Transportation Commissioner John J. Haley, Jr. will join state and local representatives to officially re-open the Route 561 Bridge in Winslow Township, Camden County.
The ribboncutting will take place on the north side of the bridge at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 14, 1997.
The original bridge collapsed on April 22, 1997. Replacement work was done around the clock under the supervision of NJDOT’s Division of Maintenance and Operations.
