Commissioner Weinstein to
break ground on first "Portway" project
Transportation Commissioner James Weinstein, along with Assembly Transportation Committee Chairman Alex DeCroce, Congressman Robert Menendez and other dignitaries, will break ground in Newark for the $31 million Doremus Avenue bridge replacement project, the first piece of the Portway International/Intermodal Corridor Program to go to construction.
The ground-breaking ceremony will be held on Monday, July 24, at 11:30 a.m. beside the bridge.
