Truck Amendments to be published
The New Jersey Department of Transportation will be publishing amendments to New Jersey’s truck restrictions to better clarify the definition of "interstate through travel" and "intrastrate access travel." The proposed amendments will have a positive impact on the regulation of truck traffic in New Jersey by providing for a greater level of compliance with the rules.
Attached is the submittal for publication in the New Jersey Register on September 18, 2000. Two informational workshops are also scheduled for October 10, 2000 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on October 11 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Both will be held at NJDOT Headquarters, 1035 Parkway Avenue, Trenton, NJ.
